Derek Doepker
My name is Derek Doepker and I am the owner and writer of excuseproof.com. I created this website in 2012 to share some of the incredible health and fitness discoveries I’ve made in the past 9 years. Particularly the tips and strategies that have not been shared by the mainstream fitness blogs. But before I go into where I’m at now, let me tell you how I got started.
9 years ago I was as junior in high school eating fast food every single night of the week, going through 24 packs of Mountain Dew every couple of days, and my only form of exercise was rocking out in my room on guitar. My family tried to get me to eat better but I wasn’t having it. I was set in my ways. That is, until I started to read about something that ended up changing my life.
I can’t pinpoint the exact moment, but something compelled me to research health and anti-aging. I bought the book “The Wrinkle Cure” (great book) and started researching nutrients, antioxidants, and all things related to healthy living online. I realized the impact my unhealthy lifestyle was having on my body, and something inside me said “I don’t want to be an unhealthy person. I want to be a fit person in great shape. In fact, I KNOW that is what I should and can be.”
It was game over at that point. Through a combination of books, internet research, and a solid exercise course I purchased, I quickly gained muscle, lost fat, and got into incredible shape all in a matter of a few months.
(The exercise and diet guide which I purchased was great, but it is not available anymore. If I were to start over again today, I would utilize something similar to LGN365.
With my incredible and lasting success, naturally a lot of people have asked me for advice over the years for losing fat, building muscle, and eating better. But no matter how great of “how-to” advice I was able to provide, very few people had the motivation or willpower to follow though. They particularly were held up by their excuses like “not enough time” or “not enough money.”
This led me to do two things. The first is study everything I can get my hands on when it comes to psychology, personal development, and how to “hack” the brain to do what you want it to do. This was essential for helping people get past their motivation barriers.
The second thing I did is create this website to share all my best tips and tricks so you can get the benefits of all my research and real world experience without having to waste your time trying to sort it out for yourself. This includes my best time saving, money saving, and motivation strategies.
This means you simply sign up for my my health and fitness survival guide, check out the articles, and subscribe to my fitness youtube channel. I also have a book available on Amazon with my best strategies for staying motivated dieting. My goal is to either give you the step-by-step solutions or point you in the right direction where you can find the solutions to your specific needs. I hope to make your journey getting and staying in shape as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
